The Salton Sea is a desolate place. It appears to go on forever, a never-ending brackish pool that seems to merge with the sky.
This photo was taken in 2011 on one of my last rolls of film. This trip to the Salton Sea was one of the very first trips I remember taking with the sole purpose of taking pictures. It’s not the first picture I took that I love, but it’s the first intentional photo of mine I love. I hope you love it too.
